September 15, 2006 profit warning for year ending March 31, 2007:
- Full year forecast is for revenue of 9.704 trillion yen ($83 B US)
- Full year forecast is for net income to be a loss of 55 billion yen ($500 M US), while the previous forecast was for a profit of 55 billion yen. The expected loss is mostly due to Power and Industrial Systems to lose $250 M and HGST to lose $150 M.
